Hive Lens: Submissions Closed. Now You Vote.

We opened Hive Lens on May 1st. Six weeks later, over 70 photos from 40 Hive members.

I wasn't sure what to expect when we launched this. Our first photo competition. Would people actually print something, set up a shot, and submit? Turns out, yes. A lot of you did.


And some of these photos are really, really good.


I've been watching entries come in for weeks now. Casual bedroom shoots, outdoor shoots, full product-style shots with proper lighting. A few of them look very very surreal. The range is wild, and I keep going back to the gallery just to see what people did with the same catalog designs.

Now It's Time to Vote

Voting is open. Head to the voting page, browse the photos, and vote for the ones that deserve to win.


Here's how it works:

  • Anyone can vote. You don't need to be a Hive member.

  • If you are a Hive member, your vote counts for 5 points instead of 1. That's where the real weight is.

  • The photos with the most points at the end win.

  • Once you vote on a photo, you can't change it. So look through the gallery before you start clicking.

  • You can vote on as many entries as you want though.


If you submitted an entry, this is the part where you go share it. Get it in front of friends, followers, other Hive members. Every vote counts.

We might still throw in a few surprise prizes for entries that really stand out. No promises, but we're watching.


Rules Refresher

  1. You need an active Hive subscription through the end of the competition.

  2. Hive Catalog designs only.

  3. By submitting, you're giving Cubee permission to use your photos in marketing.

  4. Most votes wins. Prizes go out within a week of results.
